Origin Story

“Fashion needs Jesus.” I must’ve said it a thousand times before, I’ll say it a thousand times still, and it will hold true.

And it is for that very reason, my loves, that I am writing to you today. I’ve decided to call this post my Origin Story. Everything has a beginning, and this is mine. I suppose such a bold statement as “Fashion Needs Jesus” is a call to action to those in the magical, yet vicious multi-billion dollar industry. In a world of private investors, luxury holding groups, obsession with 4th quarter revenues, reality TV opportunists, exploitation of developing countries, and yet-to-be discovered artists brimming with raw creativity, we’ve lost our soul, and now find ourselves desperately seeking Savior.

What do I mean by all of this?

We’ve lost our way. We’ve lost our humanity. From the lowest rungs of fashion, to the pinnacle of luxury, we’ve blindly accepted fashion as a cut throat, ruthless, claw or buy your way to the top type of industry, and treat each other as such. It’s time for a change.

So here I shall share thoughts, stories, reviews, and inspiration.
